American Freedom Train Foundation 1776-1976 Metal Collector Plate Wall Mount
This is a commemorative metal plate made for the 1975–1976 “American Freedom Train” Bicentennial celebration. It is not ordinary dinnerware — it was sold as a patriotic souvenir during the U.S. Bicentennial era leading up to America’s 200th birthday in 1976. The backstamp shows it was made by the American Art China Co. in Sebring, Ohio, this particular piece appears to be made from pewter-finish metal rather than ceramic china. The textured gray finish and rolled edge are typical of 1970s decorative metal serving trays… Very nice piece for collectors
