Antique Tin Tool Blumer Doscher Mfg 1895 Tinsmith Snips Cutter Crimp Sheetmetal
Here is a rare find, an antique tinsmith hand tool. It is made by Blumer Doscher Mfg in NY, Pat date of July 9, ’95. They are quite heavy and very well made. They have a gear reduction on the side, for amazing torque to the cutting blades by hand. They work great, and are so sharp and tight, they can cut paper easily. The top blade is removable, so you can sharpen or replace it. There is an arm on the one side, that has a spring loaded slot and a sharp spike or scribe on it too, not really sure how that works, but everything is free and in excellent condition.
